Issue Areas

There are certain multidimensional issues of on-going concern for the reentry population. The A/TCRRT Planning Council attempts to integrate its work in these key issue areas by establishing formal partnerships with existing committees, work groups, and coalitions that have similar or overlapping goals. This results in more efficient use of existing community resources, less duplication of effort, and promotes opportunities for dialogue and the sharing of accurate data. These issue areas are:

• Housing
• Employment
• Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse

Committees

The A/TCRRT has three standing committees that each address a specific strategy for engaging the community and achieving system-wide change to improve reentry. These committees are:

• Support Systems
• Policy Reform
• Evidence-Based Practices
